After taking the decision to use this year's Spring Competition to give some of Falcon's squad some vital gala experience it proved too much on the night, finishing in last place against some strong opposition. Howevever there was some positives to gain from the result, with all the younger swimmers performing well with many of them swimming in older age groups. In only her second gala for the club 10 year old Maje Felton produced a fantastic swim, winning the girls 25m Butterfly. The only other victory on the night came from Sam Murden, Jarrod Davies, Kyle Raison and Josh Pearson in the boys 12 & under 4x1 Freestyle relay. Second  places were gained from the experienced duo of Steven Catton in the Mens Open 100m Butterfly and Kirsten Gilding in the girls 12 & under 50m Butterfly. A special mention must also go to 13 year old Lauren Straw who stepped in at the last moment to swim in the Ladies Open 100m Butterfly producing a fantastic swim, knocking 10 seconds off her previous best time.

FULL RESULT Sherwood 220 pts, Arnold 180 pts, Leander B 163 pts, Ripley Rascals 152 pts, CABS B 146 pts, FALCON 103 pts.
